Using the right kind of moisturizer for your skin that targets your skin problems can actually help maintain its balance. Whether your skin is normal, dry, oily or sensitive… you always need a hydrator because the key to glowing wrinkle free skin is of course – hydration! It might sound odd but if you have blemishes it’s really a good idea to keep your face moisturized because dryness can actually make your acne worse.
What is the importance of a moisturizer in your skin care routine?
Just to start with, moisturizing doesn’t just feel great, it can help keep your skin clear, smooth, and wrinkle-free in the long run. But! it’s always a good idea to find a moisturizer that will suit your skin type and also that will not make your skin feel heavy and clogged. Whether your skin is dry, oily, normal or sensitive… you are going to need something to hydrate your face. A few plus points of adding a moisturizer in your skin care —
- Leaving moisturizer out of your routine today could lead to wrinkles in the future.
- If you don’t like those fine lines on your skin, all you have to do is use a good moisturizer and hydrate your skin.
- If you do not moisturize your skin, gradually your skin is going to turn flaky, dry and develop irritants.
- If you have an acne prone skin, devoiding moisture can actually aggravate your acne problem.
- A moisturized skin is the key to healthy glowing skin.
My Kbeauty Routine
Kbeauty or not, I have been into moisturizing my skin always! My skin isn’t very dry but my skin just needs its share of moisturizing always and the only mistake I did was to wait till my skin started shouting for some moisturization. However after getting into Kbeauty I have started taking hydration of skin seriously and that includes intake of water.
Step 6 – Moisturizers/Lotions/Night Cream
It was only after kbeauty that I started following a proper routine for my skin and I haven’t regretted investing the time and the money. I understand how important each of these steps are for my skin and also I started paying attention on the type of products my skin wanted. As for hydration… though I stay at a place which is cold most of the time of year still I don’t prefer heavy creams during day time.
Now that the weather has gone a little hotter I have shifted to a lighter night cream. Though my day cream remains the same I thought of using a cream that has been in my list for quite a while now…
And my new night hydrator has been one of the most expensive buys in skin care till date!

While I use a hydrating toner and serum, I like how this product works on my skin. The formula falls somewhere between a serum and an essence, with a watery, gel-like texture that absorbs into the skin instantly for a boost of hydration. It gets absorbed into the skin in no time. I do not have to keep rubbing/massaging to let it penetrate completely. I love this concentrate for it does not cause any oiliness on my skin. It’s somewhat gel based and gels always work great on my skin type.
– Pros –
- Very good mix of proven hydrating ingredients.
- Instantly makes skin feel drenched in lightweight moisture.
- Has a few good anti-aging ingredients.
- Quickly penetrates into the skin.
- Just one pump is sufficient to cover face and neck.
- Keeps the skin hydrated for a long time.
- Hygienic and convenient packaging.
- Does not cause skin breakouts.
– Cons –
- I would have liked a few more antioxidants and skin-restoring ingredients into this product for its hefty price.
Will I rebuy? – If I bumped across some other such awesome hydrator with this kind of ingredients with a ‘cheaper price’ I will opt for that. But for now I am totally loving the smooth plump feel of my skin!
Recommendation – If this price suits you… then definitely go for it!!
Till next time… Keep glowing guys! <3
